‘Centre for Endless Growth’ in TENT – Photo Recap

Second-year MFA student Patrick Lydon builds an interactive nature/office installation in TENT this week.

The installation features a reading library, and a tree which appears to have violently broken into the space, creating a miniature forest floor which visitors can examine as a ‘growth model.’

Endless Growth is partially a commentary on our contemporary inflated idea of growth in economy and production, and partially a representation of the ideal office space; a model for how our current methodologies in research and development could benefit from the presence of ‘real’ growth.

The show runs from 7 – 11 April
