Swiss architect and artist Florian Graf will be presenting his latest project “Lost Waltzing Walls” at Art Chicago 2010. Being interested in the psychological and emotional relationship of human beings with their environment in contemporary Western society, Graf explores the different ways architectural surroundings influence the spectator – both mentally and physically. While his huge nomadic sculptures are physically moved by confined humans, they are meant to be ‘tracked down’ throughout the entire exhibition.

Florian Graf is currently a Fulbright Fellow at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Florian Graf’s project at Art Chicago 2010 is in part made possible by the Consulate General of Switzerland in Chicago.
